Privacy Policy
Template, pending legal review. Before launch it must be reviewed against the jurisdictions you operate in and the data you actually process. Sections marked [REVIEW] require specific legal input.
Who we are
Apply Studio operates the website at applystudio.com. For any question about this policy or about personal data we hold, contact us at the address in the contact section below.
[REVIEW] Add the registered legal entity name, company registration number, registered address and, where required, the details of a data protection officer or representative.
What this site collects
This website contains no third-party analytics, advertising, tag management or tracking scripts, and sets no tracking cookies. Nothing you do while reading these pages is recorded by us or shared with a third party.
Personal data reaches us in one circumstance only: when you choose to submit the enquiry form or send us an email.
- Information you enter in the enquiry form: your name, work email address, company name, website address, the services you are interested in, an optional budget range, and the project details you write.
- Standard server access logs kept by our hosting provider, which may include IP address, request time, requested URL, referrer and user agent. These exist for security and operational purposes.
Why we process it, and on what basis
Enquiry data is used to reply to your enquiry, to assess whether we can help, and to carry out any resulting business conversation. We do not use it for marketing unrelated to your enquiry, and we do not sell, rent or share it for third-party marketing.
The lawful basis is, in most cases, our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry that you initiated, or the steps taken at your request before entering a contract.
[REVIEW] Confirm the lawful bases that apply to your jurisdiction and operations, and state them specifically.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are retained for a limited period so we have context if you get in touch again, and then deleted. Records relating to an engagement are retained for as long as the relationship requires and for any period required by law afterwards.
[REVIEW] Set and state specific retention periods.
Who else processes it
We use third-party service providers for website hosting and for email. These providers process data on our instructions and only as necessary to provide their service.
[REVIEW] List the actual providers, their roles, and the countries in which data is processed. Where data is transferred internationally, state the safeguard relied upon.
Cookies
This website sets no cookies of its own and no third-party cookies. If that changes – for example if analytics is introduced – this policy will be updated and appropriate consent will be requested before any non-essential cookie is set.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. You may also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority.
To exercise any of these, contact us using the details below. We will respond within the period required by applicable law.
[REVIEW] State the specific rights and response deadlines applicable in your jurisdictions, and name the relevant supervisory authority.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted transport, access control on the systems that hold enquiry data, and keeping only the data we have a reason to keep. No system can be guaranteed secure, and we do not claim otherwise.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version will be published on this page with an updated date. Material changes affecting how we use data you have already submitted will be communicated directly where we can.
Contact
Questions about this policy, or about personal data we hold, can be sent to the address on our contact page.
